رومیزی پته‌دوزی کرمان is woven or embroidered on a hand loom with dyed silk and cotton thread. The بته‌جقهٔ پته motif is executed by counting threads; there is no machine printing. The سبز و اناری palette comes from natural dyes and the local vocabulary of کرمان. The work took ۳۰ working days and every edge was finished by hand.

The story

Archival museum pieces were re-read and re-drawn as working patterns on paper. The work is produced with a cooperative and local workshop alongside other weavers. It took ۳۰ working days, and part of the income funds training for village women. Colour fastness and yarn quality are reviewed before every piece is released. The artisan's full story is in the certificate and on their profile page.
Silk and termeh are dry-clean only; avoid alkaline detergents. Wash pateh and felt by hand in cold water with mild soap and dry flat. Store rolled rather than folded, wrapped in cotton cloth.
