Story

The artisan story

The first woman khatam maker at the Isfahan art workshop, she pioneered pairing khatam with modern metals. Critics were many, but the 'New Khatam' exhibition in Tehran settled her path. Her goal is to take khatam to handbags and earrings, not just souvenir boxes.
