Story

The artisan story

He remembers the spring migration from the age of six and learned kilim motifs from his mother before he could read. Every pattern, he says, remembers a spring or a tent. Today he works from a fixed studio in Dasht-e Morghab, but spins wool exactly where the tribe always has.
