Story

The artisan story

His childhood home was both loom and workshop; five brothers, all weavers. Reconstructing a lost hunting-ground design once cost him six months of research in the Tabriz carpet archive. His studio now employs twenty-five weavers and every export carpet travels with its own knot-and-dye dossier.
