سینی مس قلمزنی با کتیبهٔ نستعلیق was raised with a hammer before the کتیبهٔ شعر فارسی motif was chased into it with steel gravers. To keep the metal workable, the piece was heated and cooled repeatedly so it would not crack. The work took ۳۰ working days plus several polishing stages. The مسی تیره tone comes straight from working the metal; there is no industrial plating.
故事
这件作品承载着Isfahan工匠的故事，每一处细节都由手工完成，绝无工业化量产。
استاد داوود کاظمی comes from the coppersmiths' and silversmiths' row of اصفهان, and this piece is their own handwork. They prepare wire, sheet and alloy themselves, which is why every piece carries a different weight and ring. To reach the کتیبهٔ شعر فارسی motif, several trial pieces and refinements were needed. The work took ۳۰ working days and ends with a felt-cloth polish. The artisan also trains young apprentices so the technique survives in the region.
Restore copper shine with copper paste or lemon and salt, drying immediately. Store silver in an anti-tarnish pouch away from sulphur sources such as eggs and onions. Clean raised engraving with a soft brush, never a wire brush, to keep the lines crisp.
