The work took ۱۰ working days plus several polishing stages. The نقرهای tone comes straight from working the metal; there is no industrial plating. At ۴ × ۲ سانتیمتر with balanced weight, the piece is both useful and display-worthy. The workshop stamp and piece code are engraved on the base.
故事
استاد سعید نجفی comes from the coppersmiths' and silversmiths' row of آذربایجان شرقی (تبریز), and this piece is their own handwork. They prepare wire, sheet and alloy themselves, which is why every piece carries a different weight and ring. To reach the ملیلهٔ توری motif, several trial pieces and refinements were needed. The work took ۱۰ working days and ends with a felt-cloth polish. The artisan also trains young apprentices so the technique survives in the region.
Clean raised engraving with a soft brush, never a wire brush, to keep the lines crisp. Restore copper shine with copper paste or lemon and salt, drying immediately. Store silver in an anti-tarnish pouch away from sulphur sources such as eggs and onions.
