Handspun wool was dyed with madder, walnut husk and weld, then dried in the shade for weeks before weaving. The راهراه افقی design was drawn by hand on graph paper and only then transferred to the loom. Its قهوهای و کِرِم palette follows the natural seasons and shifts character under warm and cool light. At ۱۸۰ × ۱۲۰ سانتیمتر, the piece is sized for a living room or formal reception area.
故事
The design was re-read from the artisan's family archive and the colours rebuilt from plant recipes. The maker's work belongs to فارس (شیراز), a province where carpet has been Iran's export language for centuries. The weaving took ۴۵ working days in total and passed several quality reviews along the way. A signature knot at the edge keeps the road back to the weaver permanently visible. Keep away from direct sunlight and humidity above 60%; air the reverse side every few months. Move the piece with two people, lifting by the edges so the knots are never dragged. Wash once a year with diluted carpet shampoo and cold water, then dry in the shade.
