The surface is finished with natural oil and beeswax so the grain can breathe. The work took ۴۵ working days and was sanded and finished entirely by hand. At ۷۰ × ۵۰ سانتیمتر and with the warmth of timber, it suits contemporary interiors. The maker's signature and the piece code are engraved on the edge.
Hikâye
استاد اسدالله مرادی works timber in فارس (شیراز) and sources the material from managed forests. Before cutting, the stock rests for months so it can lose its moisture. This piece took ۴۵ working days and its design was revised on paper several times. The maker avoids illegal timber and synthetic dyes, which is why every finish is natural. Off-cuts from the studio become small objects and wooden toys.
Wipe with a barely damp cloth and dry immediately. Feed the wood with natural oil or beeswax every six months to prevent cracking. Keep the piece out of direct sun and away from radiators.
